Our “Maison d'Hôtes”: a family tradition

Next to the main building there are two courtyards surrounded by various historical buildings which are a reminder of the country life of past times. The buildings have been renovated and transformed into elegant yet cosy suites and reception rooms. Among the buildings there is even the 19^th century “bigataia” (the building where silkworms were bred, in Piedmontese they are called bigat): here, the beauty of the historical atmosphere merges with every modern comfort offering a very special kind of Bed & Breakfast accommodation. One and two roomed suites have been fitted out to offer all you need for a short stay or a longer holiday which can be spent in complete relaxation.

Our guests can go on bicycle trips, take carriage rides or just enjoy long, invigorating walks in the quiet parklands.

Il Torrione estate is also a good starting point for a visit to the historical cities of Turin and Saluzzo and the Royal Palaces of the House of Savoy (look at the section  “The Surroundings”).

For those who love sport and feel like a game of tennis or a dip in the pool, the tennis courts and swimming pool on the estate are open to visitors.

Being a guest at Il Torrione is like going back in time when life in a country villa meant a holiday With friends where you could spend a pleasant vie de chateau in the countryside of Piedmont.

Finally, Il Torrione is PET FRIENDLY so small dogs are allowed on the complex.

The Suites

The suites are double (for one or two people - Bigat only for two people) and are equipped with all mod cons, including air conditioning and satellite TV. The “suite option” also includes:

The apartments, designed to accommodate 2 or more persons, may be single or two-room apartments, or accommodation in more than one room with kitchen area, equipped with kitchenware, and the possibility of additional beds.

Apartment for 4-6 people consisting of lounge, kitchen, two double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

Groom's

Spacious two-room apartment for 2-3 persons consists of living room with fireplace and kitchenette, double bedroom and bathroom.

Nespolo

Large studio for 1-2 people with fireplace, kitchenette and bathroom.

La Corte

Spacious one bedroom apartment for 2-4 persons consists of living room with kitchenette, double bedroom and bathroom.

La Piccola Corte

Studio for 1-2 people with kitchen and bathroom.

Il Rustico

Duplex for 2-5 persons consists of large living room with kitchenette on the ground floor and a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor.
